Intercom Systems
Communication between a door entrance and people already inside the building can be achieved throu8gh the use of an intercom system.
When outside the building a button is pressed on the intercom handset or panel causing a ring to sound inside the building and then a two way conversation can occur.
Once the identity of the caller has been confirmed, the door can then
unlocked by pressing a button located on the handset allowing the visitor
entry in to the building. In built video cameras can be integrated with a intercom system to allow staff to identify visitors much simpler.
It is also possible to have a proximity card reader or keypad, allowing staff to gain entry without the need to use the intercom system.
